The Load-Zero Foundation:
Saving people with HIV, one test at a time.
The Load Zero Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding HIV viral load testing in the developing world; mainly in Africa, India and Asia. Each test costs just $25, a small price to pay for saving a life and helping to stop the spread of HIV and related infectious diseases.
Even today, HIV viral load testing is not accessible to 95% of the HIV population in these regions. The result is the unnecessary loss of life; human suffering and greatly increased cost of care to parts of the world that can least afford it.
Where your money goes:
In addition to the test itself, The Load Zero Foundation provides much needed funding to purchase essential lab equipment, lab technician training and other lab resources best suited to the infrastructure and financial limitations typically found in the developing world; mainly Africa, India and Southeast Asia.
Funding is provided to perform viral load testing to:
- An existing network of over 100 viral load testing sites in 33 countries around the world
- When a donor choses a specific site to benefit from viral load testing, the Load Zero Foundation will make sure the donation is used for testing at their chosen site
Who we partner with:
The Load Zero Foundation works in conjunction with leading companies to identify testing sites and maximize economic efficiency. Our partners all have ties with internationally recognized public health and health care delivery institutions.
